Electric pencil sharpeners are used to deal with every size, kind and shape of pencils. These sharpeners are used mostly in schools, colleges, universities and offices etc. Mostly architects and designers use these pencil sharpeners to make their work of sharpening pencils easy fast and convenient. Since these sharpeners are specially designed by engineers so they give best results as compared to ordinary sharpeners whenever used.
We have many varieties of electric sharpeners. Heavy duty sharpeners are specially designed for big institutions where frequent use of sharpening is required so it will be easy for the workers and students to use their blunt pencil again. One should also note that these have large capacity to store the sharpen material so it is not necessary to empty it after every hour. Being a teacher I was using first the ordinary one but now in my class I have the electric sharpener which is real heavy duty and I do not need to empty it after every hour and some times its capacity of holding sharpens lasts for a day. So it is a very good idea to use the electric pencil sharpener instead of the ordinary sharpener as it will cost you more but gives out best results.
